Crescent Jazz Institute / Peaks Jazz Festival
One of the largest music festivals in the region, the" Peaks Jazz Festival 2010: Big Phat Jam" will bring together over 3,000 young musicians for competitions, workshops, and thrilling performances.
This year's event features the music of Grammy and Emmy-Award winning composer, Gordon Goodwin. Joining him are Grammy winning drum legend, Dave Weckl; Grammy-nominated trumpeter, Wayne Bergeron, and Grammy-winning saxophonist, Eric Marienthal. Also joining us is Alan Baylock and Victor Lopez.
