Anjanette Mickelsen is one of Utah’s top vocal coaches. Known for getting fast results, her encouraging and fun personality makes singing fun and easy to learn. From beginners to professionals, Anjanette works with recording artists, musical theater performers, demo singers for Priddis, theme park singers, and has worked with American Idol finalist David Archuleta (Star Search). Her students have received vocal scholarships for college, and perform throughout the country. 

 Anjanette Mickelsen is an award-winning Level 5 Certified Speech Level Singing (SLS) teacher. Speech Level Singing is the world’s top singing technique, with an unsurpassed track record of training the best singers in the music business. Anjanette is the youngest teacher in the world to receive Level 5 status, SLS’s highest level of certification. She has over twelve years of teaching experience. In 2007, Anjanette received the SLS Catch the Vision award for the outstanding growth of her studio in Utah. Anjanette was honored to serve as the Rocky Mountains’ first SLS Regional Representative, or EAG (Educational Advisory Group) from 2005-2008. Anjanette also helps to train her fellow SLS teachers in the Speech Level Singing technique.

Anjanette is also a working musician in the Utah area performing professionally in bands, studio session work, and background vocals for shows and local artists. She has built a solid network of music professionals that can help her students achieve their music goals. Her real world experience is invaluable to the growth and development to her students.

Anjanette is passionate about unlocking the hidden potential in all of the voices that she works with. Anjanette believes the mastery of the voice is simply a mastery of our selves through the joy that is music. It is her belief that the key to mastering the voice is having complete freedom of expression - both body and soul. By mastering our voice and our art, we unlock the hidden potential inside our selves that is within all of us, and encourage others to do the same.

Studio Locations

Anjanette currently teaches in two locations in the Utah area, in addition to being available for long-distance lessons. Available times for lessons can run between 12:00 PM-8:00 PM depending on the studio schedule.
